Whitsunday Islands, Queensland

Whitsunday is home to a lot of great beaches including Whitehaven Beach. Here, you will be able to enjoy every water sport imaginable while also enjoying tropical sunsets. The mainland town of Airlie Beach is a busy place with Hamilton Island as the most concentrated for activities and accommodation.

Brisbane

Brisbane has everything. Unlike its capital city counterparts such as Sydney and Melbourne, the city offers all of the perks but at less of the cost. Visit Southbank, which is the home of performing arts and Queensland culture. The city also offers back alley bars and riverfront dining. Southbank a man-made marvel, which is the country’s only inner-city beach.

Once done in Southbank, visit West End where you can taste a good coffee and enjoy shopping at the street markets for hours. If you want to experience seeing the city from the top, head up to Mt Coot-tha for its stunning 360 views of the city and surrounding hinterland. You can also visit the Brisbane Story Bridge and see the stunning view of the city below.

Sydney

You can’t visit Australia without visiting Sydney. Although the city has a reputation from being expensive, there are a lot of places where you can spend your day in Sydney without spending a lot such as walking across the Harbour Bridge, going on a picnic in the Botanical Gardens, and exploring The Rocks District. And of course, going on a walk from the Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach.
